I've been munching on gummy candys today and can't seem to stop myself. I'm tracking all of it but MAN! I gotta stop eating these! I'll have to come to work more prepared next time. I only bring myself one snack to work but really I should bring two. I think my sugar is going to be pretty high today...

I know what you mean Meomi! I used to be really bad at that, I'd almost always be snacking on something lol. One thing that helped is having gum around, so when you hungry you chew that instead of eating candy or other junk foods Just as long as you don't chew too much, cuz that's bad for you're jaw. I'd also suggest keeping a little healthy snack with you(like a healthy but tasty granola bar?) ~Vanilla

Gum is bad for you jaw?? I never knew that! Yeah, when I have snacks prepared, I can be good. It's when I don't have any and I"m hungry, then it's watch out!

It's only bad for your jaw if you chew it a lot, and for long periods of time(like 2 hours...which I've done XD). Ahhh, yeah, I know what you mean XD Then it's all willpower, and just try and keep busy ~Vanilla

Something funny about candy I've learned through years of putting up with horrid cravings...
It doesn't always work in the heat of a craving, however, if you can allow yourself to take a deep breath and think for a moment - "What wants this candy?" Is it you, and your actual body needing it or is it your mind playing games with you? In all truth, candy is wanted by the mind, as well as sweets of all kinds. True, our bodies need sugar, however, it can come from a more complex, healthy source (fruits for instance) than the simple, white sugars that are found in sweets. So, next time when you have a bad craving, ask yourself - "Who's asking for this? My stomach or my brain?"
